Update for Teamsters CDL Drivers

I want to provide an important update for Teamsters CDL drivers impacted by the nondomiciled commercial driver’s license action.

The California Department of Motor Vehicles has issued a 60-day extension to allow additional time to pursue a solution that keeps affected drivers on the job and our economy moving.

Teamsters Joint Council 42 has been actively involved because drivers deserve clear answers, fair treatment, and the ability to keep working. We will continue advocating for solutions that defend workers’ rights, protect jobs, and prioritize public safety.
