Hello,

My name is Susan Geis, I am sending this email in regards to the (click article to read, pg1) “Rosies finally Officially Recognized” article .  I will keep this article with her things. My Grandmother was not a riveter, but a Welder during this time. Her name was Bess and she worked at the Bremerton Ship yards, welding. She repaired ships. I have a receipt of her pay. She talked about this time with great pride.  She passed away in 2002.

I am glad that there still are a few gals out there that are still alive that can talk about and remember those times.
