IMPROVING CONDITIONS FOR WORKERS AND THE COMMUNITY

Learn to prevent and respond to accidents, illnesses and a variety of workplace hazards in this two-Saturday, one-unit class taught by
educators from the UCLA – Labor Occupational Safety and Health (LOSH) Program, Deogracia Cornelio and Hector Flores.

Among other leadership skills, this participatory, hands-on workshop will teach you the basics of root-cause analysis, and how to develop a strategic action plan to advance injury and illness prevention in the workplace.

. Grievances and committees
. Ergonomic issues, biological hazards, workplace violence
