Jones-Sawyer Racks Up Another Prominent Endorsement; Upholds Status as Frontrunner

LOS ANGELES, CA—Maintaining his frontrunner status, today Secretary of the California Democratic Party, Reginald (Reggie) Jones-Sawyer scored another key labor endorsement by announcing that the Teamsters Joint Council 42 were joining his campaign for Assembly.

“Reggie Jones-Sawyer is our choice for California’s new 59th Assembly seat,” said Randy Cammack, President of Teamsters Joint Council 42. “We know that he’ll be labors champion in the legislature, and once elected, he’ll get right to work on day one, focusing on growing our economy and getting Californian’s back to work.”

Teamsters Joint Council 42 Endorses Osborn for Assembly

SANTA MONICA, CA- Giving Torie Osborn’s campaign another major boost, today the Teamsters Joint Council 42 joined her campaign’s growing list of supporters in her bid to fill California’s new vacant 50th Assembly seat. Earlier this week Osborn won the endorsement of the California Federation of Teachers.

“We are fed up with politics as usual in Sacramento. It’s time for bold changes in the Capitol, and that’s why we’re strongly supporting Torie Osborn for Assembly,” said Randy Cammack, President of Teamsters Joint Council 42. “This is a race that we are particularly excited about, because we’ve got a candidate who will bring a fresh approach, and new ideas for Sacramento’s tired, old ways.
